The 10th Sulphur and Sulphuric Acid Conference begins on May 10, 2027 in Polokwane, South Africa. The multiple-day event, hosted at the Protea Hotel Polokwane Ranch Resort, includes a workshop (on May 10), the conference (May 11-12), and a technical visit (on May 13).
With high demand for Southern Africa’s resources including uranium, copper, cobalt, rare earths, manganese, and lithium, sulfuric acid production and consumption is expected to increase in the region over the next few years.
As metal recoveries, cost containment, productivity, and waste management become more relevant, chemists and engineers are looking at improving their processes, extraction methods, acid usage, and efficiencies. Their technical papers will be presented.
Prospective authors are invited to submit titles of their paper, extended abstracts, or presentations.
